Formerly known as Truck Show Las Vegas, The Great West Truck Show has been directed by Alabama-based Randall-Reilly Publishing since 2008. I directed the development of the GWTS brand and the show's art direction while employed with Cummings Creative Group. Each show's annual campaign would begin before the previous year's show would end with the placement of a "teaser" ad that would be appear in the daily programs. This ad was indicative of previous teasers for both Truck Show Las Vegas and Randall-Reilly's flagship expo The Great American Trucking Show. The teaser ad would primarily be comprised of a single image which reflected the overall theme of the following year's exposition. It would not feature the bullet points and features of a typical full page ad. It was intended to imply, "If you liked this year's show, we are already confident next year will bigger and better than ever."
